	When painting, I have a sense that the canvas is a piece of a greater work not yet created. My main focus is on color and not so much the image. I am more interested in how light reacts to color, temperature of color, and the relationship of one color to another. Most of my work is an attempt to create space, depth, and perspective by the use of color
