The work seen in this website are examples created over the past 30 years. Whether it is a painting on canvas,
pastel on paper, welded steel or mixed media assemblage, his pieces reflect the influence from the diverse regions of the Hawaiian Islands; active volcanoes, open lava fields, snow-capped mountain peaks, long stretches of
coastline, tropical rain forest, indigenous dry land forest, and isolated valleys. The flotsam and ocean debris brought to shore by the currents in the Pacific Ocean, provide unique material to recycle into mixed media
